Front of house – Reception

First – and last – impressions count and our Front of House Reception teams are often the first people our guests meet. The teams set the tone for our guests’ stays and ensure that everything has gone above and beyond their expectations before they leave. We have teams who love to make guest smile everyday with high standards and great attention to detail.

From welcoming guests and showing them to their rooms, to completing paperwork, payments and ensuring special requests are met, the teams are at the heart of all lines of communication and on top of everything that’s going on in the hotel.


Front of house – F&B

‘It’s really a restaurant with rooms’ and our passionate Food and Beverage teams help to run the fast-paced operation at the very heart of the hotels.

An informal approach to service allows the guests to feel relaxed and at a ‘home away from home’, but never at the cost of professionalism, experience and knowledge.

The enthusiastic teams love what they do! Many of the staff are local to the area and have a huge sense of pride to work with such a talked-about brand; they bring with them great local knowledge and understanding that allows both locals to feel valued and recognised and visitors to make the most of their time in the area.

Staff are empowered to believe in the ‘spirit of generosity’; a little thought can go a long way in making a guest’s experience special, not just by helping celebrate a birthday with an extra pud but also by giving a guest their time.

If you want to see more of THE PIGs there is the opportunity to travel between hotels to gain further experience and knowledge of the industry. The induction and training process for our teams sits at the heart of everyday life; you will not head out onto the floor until you have learnt about our core values and beliefs that drive every decision. Training does not take place in a classroom; you are more likely to be found heading off to the local cheese-maker to see the cheese being made, teaming up for pop-quizzes in the wine cellar, or hunting down every variety of mint in the garden!
