Some may say this is the back bone of the operation, our guests experience would not be as they expected if we didn’t have these key people. Without these teams we just wouldn’t work. Our housekeeping and maintenance team’s work closely together to ensure that our hotels are perfectly presented at all times.
Playing vital roles in ensuring our hotel is ready for our guests can be a tough job, especially if you have an entire hotel checking out and checking in on one day. You need to have the motivation to deal with whatever faces you throughout the day. This could be from changing linen to fixing a light bulb or repairing a damaged wall to mopping the floor.
Each and every housekeeper or maintenance engineer are equally important as the next. We want someone who is dedicated and willing to learn to join us. It’s not just about making beds it’s about having an eye for detail in all aspects from walking to the linen cupboard or completing any guest wishes, everything has to be perfect for us.
Our Housekeeping and maintenance teams work closely with the front desk so communication is key. The maintenance team will also work closely with any external contractors on refurbishment projects. Full training in all areas of operation will be given as will the option to progress into senior roles or other departments if you wish.
